Charlie laughed as she shrieked and giggled, his eyes bright, a grin on his face. He also slowed to a stop as he became very aware of their bodies against each other, thinking about the layers of fabric that separated him from her. He swallowed hard, staring down at her with a strange look his his eyes, a battle being fought inside him. He looked about ready to lean down and kiss her, and he actually did lean forward a bit but he jerked back..as if realizing what he was doing. He shook his head, clearing his throat, giving a strangled sort of laugh.

Maddy actually thought he was going to kiss her, but he jerked away as if she had shocked him. She continued to stare up at him, still aware of her chest rising and falling against his. He could probably hear, or at least feel, her heartbeat against him now. "Charlie?" she breathed, her hand coming up to hesitantly touch his cheek. "What's the matter?" she asked.

Charlie would have kissed her too...if he hadn't realized what he was doing. He stared at her, his own heart pounding hard in his chest. What was wrong with him? He shouldn't feel this way...but he really wanted to. He drew a deep breath and let it out slowly as she said his name. He stood there silently a moment, closing his eyes as she touched his cheek. "I...well..we.." he stopped, trying to organize his thoughts, but he was finding it incredibly difficult.

Maddy frowned, watching him getting flustered. She sighed, wondering if maybe he was thinking along the same lines as her. "Charlie... I'm almost eighteen." she said, "I'm not thirteen year old anymore." she turned his face back to hers. He was so exotically handsome, he simply took her breath away... literally. She simply stopped breathing.

Charlie's ears were a bright shade of red, which is how he usually got when flustered and embarrassed. He focused on anything but her, quite aware of their bodies still pressed together. He swallowed as she spoke. Of course she was eighteen...and she definitely wasn't the thirteen year old he'd known before. He fixed his eyes on hers as she turned his face back to hers. He stared down into her eyes, his heart racing again, feeling as if it may burst from his chest. He didn't think about it anymore, didn't let himself debate over the idea any longer.
He lowered his face to hers, his firm lips pressing against her soft ones. A little threw went through him as he lifted his hand, resting it on the back of her neck, tangling some in her hair.

She hadn't actually expected him to kiss her, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy the surprise. Her arms wound their way around his neck, her foot even popped and everything. It was the most amazing thing she'd ever experienced, more so even, than she had imagined it would be if he ever kissed her. She sort of melted in his arms, unable to do much else than kiss him back at the moment.

Charlie enjoyed his first kiss with her more than anything he'd experienced before. He held her close to him, his other hand pressed lightly on the small of her back, keeping her body pressed against his own. He didn't think about it...he didn't care..he just wanted to enjoy this. But his mind, as it usually did, made him stop. He pulled away rather quickly, putting a good three feet between them, shifting, "I'm sorry.." he said quickly, rubbing the back of his head, "I shouldn't--It was--," he stopped, his thoughts all jumbling together.

Maddy sighed when he pulled away. She simply smiled as he began to stammer. "Perfect. Wonderful. Amazing." she supplied to finish his sentence. "I would say more if I knew more. Spectaculos. Pitoresc. Desăvârșit. Necrezut." she said in Romanian.
"Don't make more complicated than it is, Charlie." she said, taking a step toward him, "Nothing to be sorry about. You've done nothing wrong."

Charlie swallowed, licking his lips, glancing around briefly before fixing his gaze back on her. It had been perfect..wonderful..amazing. He wanted to kiss her again...He shifted as she took a step toward him, gazing down at her, "I shouldn't have done it...you're..I'm..." he stopped again, getting all flustered again.

Maddy shook her head, "Silly Charlie, let me make simple." she said, "You're a man, I'm a woman. What's the problem?" she asked, "Forget that I am princess, forget that you are dragon tamer. Man. Woman." Maddy said, closing the distance between them, "I've always had foolish crush on you. I thought it had left, but now it stronger than ever." she took one of his big hands in her smaller one, tilting her face towards his. "Tell me you don't want this and I go away and never bother you with it again."

Charlie shifted a little. A man. A woman. His eyes drifted over her briefly before he snapped them back to her face. Yes, she was certainly a woman. He rubbed the back of his head before she took his hand. It felt nice..though he was sure his hand was probably sweaty by now. He looked away from her a moment, "I do..want it.." he said quietly after a moment. He couldn't deny that.

Maddy smiled, moving the hand she was holding to her waist, bringing the other slowly up to her face. "Then stop making excuses and kiss me." she said, always a straightforward and demanding girl. She certainly knew what she wanted and she went for it. (If only this could last her entire life...)

Charlie kept his hand at her waist as she moved it there, rubbing her cheek lightly with his thumb. He laughed at her demand, looking down at her with the softest expression in his eyes. He pulled her close to him, kissing her softly.

She wrapped her arms around him, fingers playing in his soft red hair, kissing him back passionately. He was actually her first kiss, but she couldn't think of anyone better to hold that honor.
