A small (if not half-hearted) smile crept upon Fred's face when she mentioned her sister, but when she said that she wanted to leave, he stood, holding his hand out to help her up. If anyone needed to speak with her, they could do it later when she'd had some more time to deal with this. Of course, losing a twin wasn't exactly something one just bounced back from (and the only reason he could empathize with the emptiness she must've been feeling was because he had felt it before through her). Fred never wanted to know that feeling again (not that anyone would).

"Come on," he said, leading her out of the room. He didn't care if he was offending anyone by taking her away from the funeral or if his mother had planned on having them over for dinner; none of that was important. He knew they were all well-wishers who only wanted the best for Sadra, but what did they know about what was best for her? He certainly didn't. If Sadra was read to leave, then Fred was.

Fred had never really gotten funerals. He'd attended his uncles', but those were long, long ago, and he and George had only really known it was sad because everyone around them was crying. He could even remember the way they looked in their coffins... almost like they were sleeping, but more like dolls than actual people. Funerals were supposed to be for saying goodbye, but it wasn't like their uncles were going to talk back, so what was the point? Apparently, he still wasn't past that point when it came to facing death.

People needed funerals, though. That much he got. It was the why that escaped him. Perhaps it was to be with a group of people who feel the same as you do (misery loves company) or maybe people feel closer to the dead when they're near their bodies. If Fred didn't have the ability to hear everything he wanted whenever he wanted when he was in the afterlife, he would certainly feel gyped.

Sadra was grateful that he was willing to just take her away from all this. It wasn't that she didn't respect Sadri, quite the contrary. Sadri would have wanted her funeral to be a party of some sort, possibly involving exotic animals and volatile punch. She wouldn't have wanted any of these people to be standing around so depressed, she would have wanted them all to get out and live a little. 'Let me live vicariously, at least.' she'd probably say.

Thinking of all this actually made her laugh, once they were out of earshot of the congregation of course. "She wouldn't have wanted this." she said, "She would have wanted us to light off fireworks and play drinking games or have a scavenger hunt or something." she explained. "Should've been a wake, not a funeral." she sighed, wrapping her arms around his middle and resting her head on his chest. It felt so nice there, so right.

Fred put an arm around her, turning his face upward and smiling a bit. From what he knew about Sadri, she was definitely the type who'd like to party away sadness rather than wallow in it. The more he thought about it, the more he regretted not getting to know her more before all of this... which was silly, of course. Fred wasn't supposed to have regrets, but he was suddenly able to bring up several of them now. There was no point in wishing he could've known Sadri better now, though.

It wasn't as if they didn't have any memories together, anyway... quite the opposite, actually. Their relationship during their Hogwarts years was more of a rivalry than a friendship, but it certainly made for some good memories. "Well, Fred and I have some fireworks in our rainy day fund," he said jokingly, although he really did have every intention of getting them out. The least he could do was honor Sadri's memory the right way.

Sadra laughed again. Merlin, did it feel good to laugh. "She'd like it even more if you lit them over the heads of her unsuspecting funeral crowd. And then she'd tell us how she certainly did know how to party, and how, even in death, she still drew a big crowd." She sighed, smiling faintly still, "She wasn't afraid of death at all. To her, it was just another exciting adventure, waiting to be had. I'm sure she's up there in the clouds, pulling pranks on all the angels."

"Of course, she'd probably be telling us to go do something lude, that way she could live vicariously." she suppressed a little shudder, "Nothing like the dead girl in the room to cool things down." she joked, almost shocked with herself. It felt nice to talk about her, and now that she'd started, it was hard to stop.
